backstory
Little is known about Amy other than the fact she's an artificial creation herself that was created on little planet. Eventually after, she was transferred to the ARK around the time of Shadow's creation. However, she was still chronically frozen during the time since Amy wasn't fully completed. What is important to note that Amy was created with Wisp DNA, meaning that it does have a special connection to her hammerspace energy - a power that she doesn't quite know how to master yet, nor control. This is why Amy has inhibitor rings herself to help control it whenever it's being used as it helps conduit the power from overwhelming herself since it can potentially hurt her although it is less straining than chaos energy is, but there still could be a risk.
HEADCANONS
001.) Due to how things work in the movie verse with the mobians, Amy has similar speed as team sonic themselves but naturally just as Tails and Knuckles are, she is not fast as Sonic where he's in his own league. Her signature color is pink, so she'd be pretty easy to spot if roaming around the city.002.) This is the movie design I am going with for my Amy to keep in mind! She will be starting with a boom inspired outfit as she is currently, then eventually the dress will come by when Maddie gifts her it when a thread like that happens. It'll be apart of her development.003.) When using her abilities, it acts similar. Her eyes will glow a hot pink as well before anything takes place, and there will also be some kinetic energy surrounding her body as well in a lighter pink.004.) The way Amy found out about herself is when she tagged along with Shadow to pay a visit to the ARK, that's when she found the old files about her creation. She is known to be Project: H.Y.P.E.R, because of the hyper energy that she carries.005.) By the time Shadow was finished created and before the raid took place, Amy was eventually set off to earth. And from there, all she remembers is waking up in a pod before she started her journey and survival as she grew up. These events took place around the time the echindas attacked Longcaw and Sonic in the first movie.
ABILITIES
Heavily taken influence from the games, Amy is a natural hammerspace user which was what she was created with the whisp DNA. Currently little is known about this ability that Amy has, all she knows is that she is able to summon her infamous piko hammer from an invisible space, thus this means that it's possible that she is another user who can create chaos energy. When she taps into said hammerspace, pink sparks start to generate and her eyes does glow as well. The inhibitor rings that Amy has had been with her since creation day, so she doesn't know what she might be capable of if it's taken off which makes it quite scary for her, so she rarely thinks about it and avoids doing it.However if there was ever a time that they would be taken off it could lead to unpredictable things. Overloading, she may experience an excessive amount of energy coursing through her body, overwhelming her instantly completely. It would be the first effect that would cause her chaos energy to pour out uncontrollably which could result in some self inflicted injuries if she isn't careful about it. Physical exhaustion is also very possible as well, because it'll be draining her stamina and energy quicker than usual. On the top of that, there could be some moments where it would make her emotionally unstable such as fear and confusion especially when her body acts on it's own due to the adrenaline rush of a fight when the only mindset Amy has in that moment of defending herself. So she wouldn't be thinking clearly, thus leaving a high chance for Amy to possibly risk her life whether it be for herself or protecting someone she cares about deeply. Overall, Amy wouldn't know what would happen if she goes too far.`
